GenCon Bingo Day 2

Friday brings our first full day at the con, and this year we’ve snapped lots of pictures, and many of them might help you complete your bingo card. Here’s what we found today:

Fantasy staples like elves, goblin, and (as in this example) winged fairies are foundational for GenCon costumes

Steampunk explorers are also a common sight at GenCon

Particularly good costumes can draw particularly large crowds of photographers

Many new board games make their debut in GenCon's exhibit hall. This game, Rolling Freight, will be available this fall

These two attendees have worked hard and gathered many ribbons for their name-tags. You can get ribbons many ways including playing Settlers of Catan, or answering riddles at the Cloud Kingdom booth.

I have both “name tag with 10 Catan ribbons” and “name tag with 10 ribbons.” Since the pic above has two qualifying name tags, can I count it for both squares?

Have you ever seen the movie ’27 Dresses’? I wonder how many of the fairy, princess, etc… costumes are re-purposed dresses from being a bridesmaid. 🙂
